We are rightly horrified by the shootings in Newtown Connecticut. Our feelings of sadness, fear, and outrage are normal reactions to an action that we find incomprehensible.
When one asks why, or how something like this could possibly happen in this age of enlightenment the lies, evasions, folly, hatred, and schizophrenia become like razor wire. Razor wire that protects some individuals from any argument that might disturb their conscience, or the realization of what type of world their political actions are creating. Any effort to breach this intellectual razor wire barricade is met with savagery, ridicule, and hatred.
Lies, Bizarre Delusions, Disorganized Speech and Thinking
"It's so unbelievable, and it only happens in America." This is a statement that Mayor Bloomberg of New York City made on Meet The Press concerning the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. This statement is false and David Gregory the host of Meet The Press did not challenge the Mayor on this statement.
Norway, Finland, Great Britain, Germany, France, Canada, China, Pakistan, Israel, Russia and Afghanistan have had incidents of homicidal violence directed at school children, high school students, college students, and school staff.
I do not make a distinction between "terrorist homicides" and "criminal homicides", nor do I make a distinction concerning the motive of a killer, or the type of weapons used to murder one human being or many human beings. These distinctions makes no difference to the dead.
Mayor Bloomberg also demands that President Obama do something about guns in the United States. This is the same President that is hiding e-mails from Congress concerning a government program that was selling firearms to Mexican drug cartels. These firearms were used in the killing of two U.S. Border Patrol Agents and an untold number of U.S. and Mexican citizens. President Obama can hardly claim the moral high ground in any discussion of firearms, the sale of firearms, or the ownership of firearms by U.S. citizens. His Department of Justice encouraged, or coerced firearms dealers to violate federal laws in selling firearms to Mexican drug cartels.
Do not expect the media to question this moral paradox at White House press briefings, after all one does not get invited to the best parties in Washington D.C. or New York by asking tough questions.
Evasions, Folly, and Hatred

And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners.” - Mother Theresa
Over 50 million abortions have been performed in the United States. The state sanctioned killing of the defenseless in a nation that is dependent upon future taxpayers to help pay for Social Security, Medicare, and other social welfare programs is schizophrenic behavior. Euthanasia is becoming accepted in the United States. Euthanasia is an accepted practice in Europe.
The message sent by the state is that the killing of some defenseless individuals is morally acceptable and necessary, while the killing of others is not. Who knew that the Nazis were right, they were simply decades ahead of all the rest of us.
I find it interesting that the latest installment of the Texas Chain Saw Massacre series was the top grossing movie in the U.S. last week-end. Two dimensional slash and spatter was not enough for the producers, 3D gore it must be. I find it interesting that the depiction of sadism and murder has now become mainstream entertainment, yet proponents of abortion become enraged when photos of aborted children are made public.
Pontius Pilate is not the only one in history who felt the need to wash his hands, we have all been standing at the same basin.
